rat pac entertainment | burbank, CA | 3,000 square feet
In a building on the Warner Bros. lot that was once occupied by Frank Sinatra’s production company, Rat Pac Entertainment feels right at home. Company co-founder and longtime Sinatra fan, Brett Ratner wanted a space worthy of the buildings storied history and Profeta Royalty, in collaboration with decorator Tamsen Johnson, gave him exactly that. Custom rosewood wall panels surround a rich variety of antique furniture and Rat-Pack memorabilia. In the bathroom, polished Pietra Zebrano marble covers the walls and floor.
In the screening room, Ratner wanted a break from the conventional black-box room that disappears once the film is rolling. Instead, the room itself becomes part of the movie experience with a gallery of vintage photographs set against a light and neutral background. The woven wool carpet and linen furniture give this fifteen-seat theater a warm and casual atmosphere.
