producer's 44 | burbank, CA | 12,000 square feet
Building 44 on the Warner Bros. lot, also known as The Mill, was constructed in 1937 to house a variety of craft shops and studio facility departments. But lately the exposed roof trusses, north-facing clerestory windows and floor to ceiling glass has made The Mill a very desirable spot for creative offices. Profeta Royalty was commissioned to reorganize The Mill and make space for
a new production suite nick named Producer's 44. To maximize the space a second floor was inserted leaving a two-story lobby at one end. The roof trusses and clerestory windows are now a dramatic feature of the open office areas. A complete re-branding of The Mill including signage and other unifying elements completes the makeover giving Producer's 44 a unique industrial
character.
