Maker Studios is a global digital media brand and the original internet content “creator” network. Their 26,000 square foot production facility in Culver City, CA is essentially an entire movie studio condensed into a single warehouse with a mill, three stages, green rooms and talent support spaces, hair, makeup, and wardrobe, 24 post-production edit rooms, and front-of-house offices. Profeta Royalty’s mandate was to create a space that functions extremely efficiently while staying true to the Maker Studios rough and raw aesthetic. The exposed wood of the fifty-year-old warehouse inspired the slatted wall that marks the main circulation between front and back of house. Large open spaces are filled with natural light from skylights, and a generous lounge honors the Maker Studios culture.
